Danelectro Milk Shake Chorus Reviews 3

I bought it used at a Music-Go-Round in Monroeville, PA for $20. I always like the jangling sound that comes from a Rickenbacker 12-string. And the closest thing to that sound is the sound of a single-coil electric, preferably a Fender Telecaster, played through a chorus effect.

For the price, it cannot be beat. It has a beautiful chime and shimmer, very comparable to Dano's big Cool Cat or any of the Boss choruses. I would love to hear how it sounds on a 2 x 10 or 2 x 12 combo. It's a shame that, because of its plastic casing, not many guitarist are going after this and all the other Dano mini stompboxes.

Obviously the plastic casing and the tiny knobs. Like I said, it's probably the reason why the Dano Mini Effects are not quite that popular.

I hope Danelectro will tough it out and keep manufacturing the mini effects. Hopefully people will come around and realize they can get a bigger bang for the buck with these babies.
